ISTD Grade 1 Tap builds upon foundational tap steps and introduces more complex sequences and rhythm exercises. Students learn to execute steps like shuffles, flams, and paradiddles, developing a sense of musicality and spatial awareness.
The syllabus also emphasizes posture, tone, and the use of space, encouraging artistic expression and self-confidence.
We offer students the opportunity to take exams when ready.
